Altered States Without Substances:
Where Neuroscience Meets Ancient Knowledge

With Lily Hardy

Breathwork Facilitator Training | 100 Hours

Sat, August 01, 2026 - Sun, August 16, 2026

We’re at a pivotal moment in human evolution where neuroscience, psychology, and spiritual insight are converging.

The 100-Hour Psychedelic Breathwork Certificate Course is a diverse blend of nervous system science, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Yogic breath techniques, and trauma education rooted in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing so students understand not only what to do, but why it works. Drawing from functional breathing science as well as such as the Oxygen Advantage Method, the Wim Hof Method, and neuroscience-supported protocols, students learn to work with breath using clarity, precision, and purpose.

A strong emphasis is placed on working skillfully with the therapeutic potential and power available in psychedelic and non-ordinary states of consciousness — and doing so in a way that is grounded, ethical, and safe. In a world rapidly producing facilitators who may not be properly prepared or trauma-informed, this training stands as a responsible and high-impact pathway for practitioners who wish to serve clients with integrity.

Students learn how to recognize when breathwork supports regulation and when it may overwhelm or destabilize the system. Graduates leave able to confidently explain, adapt, and apply breathwork in ways that are scientifically grounded, individualized, and safe for both personal and professional practice — guiding inner journeys and altered states with skill, compassion, and care.

  • The psychedelic breathwork facilitator training was exactly what my soul needed at a time when I felt very “stuck.” The content and coursework was wonderful, but the connections and community that was formed was truly uplifting and inspiring. Lily and Ben are wonderful facilitators and even better people. They take a very nuanced approach to teaching which I personally appreciate very much. Between the course material, the guest teachers, the connections and just the overall experience - this was easily worth the investment.

  • I first discovered Lily’s breathwork class on vacation. I knew I needed to share with others what I experienced. It was the first time as a mom I experienced my mind shutting off, true relaxation and deep meditation. It truly was bliss. Months later I found myself in Lily’s training. I am so grateful I did. Her training was a good balance of theory, science and immersion. I loved how she brought in different experiences for us to witness all the different ways you can create an experience as a facilitator. Thank you for your passion and allowing us to add to the ripples and waves you are already creating. I highly recommend Lily’s training for a well-balanced and knowledgeable breathwork facilitator training. You will feel confident and prepared to teach. Don’t wait!

  • This training was way more than I expected! It gave me a complete view of what’s going on in our body when we breathe. We learned different breathing techniques for different purposes and all the neuroscience behind the breath. It’s trauma-informed training which is a huge plus! Lily’s guidance is amazing, and you can tell she’s very informed and updated in the breathwork world. But she makes the training (and the complex concepts) accessible to all people. It was a theoretical and also a practical training, we breathed daily and were able to practice what we were learning. At the end you are ready to go out there and share this incredible practice that allows you to go deeper in your life journey! Thank you Lily for such a wonderful and powerful experience!
